Mills Reef Winery was established in 1989 by the Preston family. Through commitment and dedication to excellence, Mills Reef has established itself as one of New Zealand's premium wine brands with a particular reputation for outstanding Bordeaux varietal reds and Syrah from the Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay.

Mills Reef Winery is a major Tauranga landmark and has frequently been acclaimed as one of the most stylish and attractive winery buildings and wineries in New Zealand. Set on 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the complex boasts full wine-making and bottling facilities, two underground barrel cellars, an aged wine cellar and spacious wine tasting areas.

Ohui is the home of Ohui Vineyard – a boutique vineyard dedicated to growing quality, refined Coromandel grapes.  There is no cellar door here (nor a gate), just a farm, with 2.5ha set in established vines.

As a ‘place of meeting’, Ohui brings together land and people, who in turn, delivers the unique and special taste of the Coromandel.

Mystery Creek Wines is a progressive, niche producer. With vineyards in the central North Island (just south of Cambridge) and Marlborough (in the Waihopai Valley) Our Waikato vines are nurtured in Horotiu sandy loam over free-draining river shingle, planted on a gentle north facing slope overlooking the Waikato River. The total planted area is 12ha. Our Marlborough vineyard (approximately 200ha (all Sauvignon Blanc) is planted alongside the banks of the Waihopai River, in gently sloping river shingle. The original Chardonnay grapes were planted in 1990 and sold on contract. The initial winery was built in 1999 and the first vintage harvested in 2000. More recently Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Syrah have been planted with the first wines produced in 2005.
